Titans Add Two Veteran Linebackers to Their Roster
The Tennessee Titans have bolstered their linebacker corps by signing two veteran players ahead of their second preseason game.
As announced by the team, the Titans have agreed to bring in free agents Khaleke Hudson and Blake Lynch to join their active roster.
Both linebackers bring a wealth of experience, adding depth and leadership to Tennessee’s front seven as they aim to secure a spot on the final 53-man roster later this month. 
Hudson, a fifth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft (162nd overall) by the Washington Football Team, now the Commanders, spent his first four years with Washington. He briefly played for the New Orleans Saints in 2024 before being moved to their practice squad. He then joined the Cleveland Browns for the remainder of the 2024 season. Over his career, Hudson has appeared in 75 games, starting 12, and has recorded 117 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and two passes defended across three teams.
Lynch, a four-year NFL veteran, began his career in 2020 as an undrafted free agent with the Minnesota Vikings. After spending his first two seasons with Minnesota, Lynch was out of the league in 2022 before returning in 2023 with the Los Angeles Chargers. He later joined the Kansas City Chiefs and now heads to Tennessee. Throughout his career, Lynch has played in 29 games, notching 57 tackles, two tackles for loss, three passes defended, and two forced turnovers.
The Titans’ linebacker group is currently led by Cody Barton and James Williams Sr., with promising second-round pick Oluwafemi Oladejo also in the mix. Hudson and Lynch will now compete for a spot in the depth chart as the season approaches.
