Arizona Cardinals Sign St. Louis Battlehawks OL Dohnovan West
The pipeline from the UFL to the NFL continues to flow, as offensive lineman Dohnovan West has signed with the Arizona Cardinals, a source confirmed to Pro Football Newsroom. West’s journey is a standout example of how spring football can open doors for professional opportunities.
Originally entering the XFL in 2023 with the Vegas Vipers, West impressed by starting seven games at center without surrendering a single sack. He was later acquired by the St. Louis Battlehawks during the UFL’s dispersal draft following the league merger. In 2024, West served as a versatile rotational lineman, seeing action at both guard and center across five games, logging 110 snaps.
Now, he heads to the NFL, where the Cardinals are adding him as depth to their offensive line. West brings flexibility and valuable professional experience to the role. He joins other 2025 UFL signees such as former Renegades defensive tackle Kyon Barrs and Stallions defensive back Steven Gilmore. West also becomes the seventh Battlehawks player to land an NFL contract this offseason.
His rise underscores the importance of the UFL’s platform in giving players like him another shot at the next level. For continued updates on UFL-to-NFL signings, be sure to follow our official tracker.
