Kalen DeBoer Confirms Alabama Running Back Expected to Play Against Georgia
Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer has confirmed that he expects one of his running backs, Jam Miller, to be available for the highly anticipated matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs.
As the two powerhouse teams gear up for their clash in Sanford Stadium, DeBoer provided an update on Miller’s status during a recent media session. Despite battling an injury this season, Miller has been progressing well in his preparations.
“I do expect him [Miller] to go,” said DeBoer. “He practiced yesterday and has been increasing his workload from last week so that he can play.”
Miller has been a key player in Alabama’s recent victories over Georgia, scoring a receiving touchdown in both of their previous meetings. His return would be a significant boost for the Crimson Tide as they make their first trip to Athens since 2015.
The highly anticipated game between Georgia and Alabama is set for Saturday, September 27th, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Coverage will be available on ABC.
