LOUISVILLE, Ky. – While it wasn’t a flawless performance, Louisville managed to come out on top with a 34-27 win over Pitt, despite a tough start. After falling behind 17-0 in the first quarter, the Cardinals showed resilience, making a comeback to secure the victory.
Jeff Brohm’s Thoughts:

Louisville trailed by 10 entering the final quarter but rallied to score 17 unanswered points. Key moments included Nick Keller tying his school record with a 57-yard field goal, Jaleel Skinner catching a 12-yard touchdown to tie the game, and Nate Kurisky sealing the win with a 9-yard touchdown reception.
Louisville outgained Pitt 392 yards to 339, with QB Miller Moss throwing for 339 yards and three touchdowns. The Cardinals’ defense played a pivotal role, forcing three interceptions, including two by linebacker T.J. Quinn.
Brohm reflected on the comeback, saying, “Down by 17, we found a way to tie it up. Down by 10, we came back to take the lead, with multiple turnovers in the second half and a defense that held them to zero points. It was a great effort from our guys. This comeback is even better than last year’s against BC. A massive win, and I couldn’t be prouder of the way our team responded.”
