Auburn Football: Hugh Freeze Announces Updated Team Hierarchy

The Auburn Tigers are set to return to action this Saturday following their first bye week of the season, hosting the No. 10 Georgia Bulldogs at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

After back-to-back road losses to Oklahoma and Texas A&M, the bye came at the perfect time for Auburn to reset and regroup. The Tigers enter the matchup mostly healthy, with the exception of running back Durrell Robinson and wide receiver Horatio Fields. Head coach Hugh Freeze provided an update on Fields earlier this week, noting that the freshman wideout is expected to miss six to eight weeks with his injury.

“I was told six to eight weeks on Horatio Fields, so I guess we’re on week two now,” Freeze said. “You never know exactly what that means—receivers need time to cut and move freely again, so that timeline can shift. If you’re a lineman, maybe it’s faster, but with skill positions, it’s tricky. Other than him, we’re feeling good that everyone else is ready to go.”

As Auburn looks to bounce back, the team made a few depth chart adjustments ahead of its clash with Georgia.

Here’s the Tigers’ updated depth chart for Saturday’s matchup:
