Big News for the Tennessee Volunteers Basketball
The 2025-26 season marks Rick Barnes’ 11th year leading the Tennessee men’s basketball program. The Volunteers will open their campaign on Nov. 3 against Mercer at Food City Center.
SEC play is scheduled from Jan. 3 to March 7, 2026, with each team playing 18 conference games—nine at home and nine on the road. Tennessee will face Alabama, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt twice in home-and-away matchups.
The Vols’ home SEC slate includes games against Alabama, Auburn, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.
Their road schedule features trips to Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt.
