As part of their preparation, the Raiders made a strategic practice squad signing to reinforce the offensive front.
Raiders Sign OL McClendon Curtis to Practice Squad
On Tuesday, the Raiders announced the signing of offensive lineman McClendon Curtis to their practice squad.
Curtis is no stranger to the Raiders — he originally joined the team as an undrafted free agent in 2023. He has since spent time with the Seattle Seahawks, appearing in five games over two seasons (2023–24), and had stints on the practice squads of both the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants.
A product of Chattanooga, Curtis played in 49 college games with 38 starts. He primarily lined up at right guard (30 starts), while also showing versatility with starts at left tackle (7) and left guard (1). His consistent play earned him three First-Team All-SoCon honors during his collegiate career.
With Curtis back in the fold, the Raiders are adding experience and versatility to a unit that will need to perform at a high level against a dominant Chiefs defense. The move could prove valuable as Las Vegas looks to keep their offensive momentum rolling in a pivotal divisional battle.
