Browns Add TikTok Star, Former All-SEC Tight End; Release Running Back

The Cleveland Browns were flying high after their impressive Week 7 win over the Miami Dolphins, but reality hit hard in Week 8 as the New England Patriots handed them a 32–13 defeat on Sunday.

Cleveland kept things close early, but the game unraveled in the second half, revealing several roster weaknesses that need attention. In response, the Browns’ front office made a couple of subtle practice squad moves on Monday — including the addition of a former All-SEC tight end who’s also known for his TikTok presence.

Browns Add Caden Prieskorn, Cut Ahmani Marshall

Much of the Browns’ 2025 campaign has centered on the quarterback position. With Dillon Gabriel stepping in as starter, the team hoped he’d prove to be their long-term answer. However, after four starts, Gabriel’s play hasn’t shown much improvement over Joe Flacco, the veteran he replaced.

Given the uncertainty under center, Cleveland is looking to shore up other parts of the roster. On Monday, the team signed tight end Caden Prieskorn to the practice squad. Prieskorn, who previously spent time with the Lions, Broncos, and Buccaneers, will now have an opportunity to make an impression in Cleveland.

To make room for Prieskorn, the Browns released running back Ahmani Marshall, who had been with the team’s practice squad since the start of the season. Both players entered the league as undrafted rookies in 2025, and this move appears to be an effort to evaluate Prieskorn’s potential upside.

“The Cleveland Browns have signed TE Caden Prieskorn to the practice squad. To make room on the roster, the team released RB Ahmani Marshall,” the Browns announced via their official website.

Browns Eye Recovery During Bye Week

Neither Prieskorn nor Marshall were expected to make an immediate impact on the active roster. Practice squad moves like this typically serve to build positional depth or develop young talent for the future.

After bouncing between three teams already this season, Prieskorn will look to find stability in Cleveland. His arrival comes during the Browns’ Week 9 bye, giving him extra time to get acclimated before the team prepares for its Week 10 matchup against the New York Jets.
