Steelers Add Former Eagles OL Jack Driscoll for Depth

With Isaac Seumalo dealing with an injury ahead of the Steelers’ Week 9 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, Pittsburgh has signed offensive lineman Jack Driscoll to bolster their offensive line depth.

Driscoll, 28, began his college career at UMass before transferring to Auburn, where he became a steady starter. Drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Driscoll has appeared in 47 career games (five starts) over four seasons, primarily playing right tackle and right guard.

He spent time with the Miami Dolphins earlier this year but was released at final roster cuts, later returning to the Eagles before now joining the Steelers.

With Seumalo missing practice this week, Driscoll could be a prime candidate for elevation to the active roster, especially given his versatility and experience compared to Pittsburgh’s other practice squad linemen.

If active on game day, Driscoll could provide valuable depth or support in jumbo packages, even though he has limited experience at left guard — the position most affected by Seumalo’s injury.
