Micah Parsons Shuts Down Colin Cowherd With a Four-Letter Comeback
GREEN BAY, Wis. – Green Bay Packers star Micah Parsons fired back at sports commentator Colin Cowherd after Cowherd criticized his quiet stat line in Monday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Parsons’ short but pointed response — “stfu” — quickly went viral.
Cowherd noted that Parsons didn’t record a sack or quarterback hit, but his box-score analysis overlooked the real story:

Despite Green Bay’s offensive struggles, Parsons’ defensive impact kept the team in the game.
“We just held Saquon Barkley to 60 rushing yards, and our only losses have come when holding teams to 13 points!” Parsons wrote on social media. “Man, please stfu and enjoy great defense! Stop giving people mics or listening to trash!”
Through the season, Parsons has been elite — ranking third among 69 edge rushers in total pressures (50) and fifth in pass-rush win rate (23.3%).
Still, Cowherd fixated on the zeros.
“I don’t know if you noticed this last night with Micah Parsons,” Cowherd said on his show. “No sacks, no quarterback hits — for the second straight game.”
He also compared this season’s Packers record (5-3-1) to last year’s (6-3), noting that Green Bay’s defense has only marginally improved statistically — though in several key categories, it has.
Cowherd argued that Parsons disappears against strong offensive tackles and questioned his postseason impact. He also claimed Parsons struggles against the run. But the numbers disagree — Green Bay’s defense allows just 3.84 yards per carry, one of its best marks since 1996.
Cowherd framed Parsons as a “splash player” — a freak athlete who thrives when his team leads but struggles when opponents run the ball late. Yet, in Monday’s final series, Barkley managed just 4 yards on three carries against Parsons’ defense.
“It’s November football,” Parsons said afterward. “This is the time of year you’ve got to lock in — November, December, playoff push. We’re going to win a lot of games.”
Despite back-to-back home losses, Parsons urged fans not to panic.
“I wouldn’t worry at all,” he said. “We just played one of the best offenses in football. We’ll be fine — we’re going to win a lot of football games.”
