THE FLATS – Georgia Tech head coach Damon Stoudamire announced Tuesday that three four-star prospects have signed grant-in-aid agreements to join the Yellow Jackets: 6-2 point guard Kaiden Bailey of Irvine, Calif.; 6-10 center Moustapha Diop of Thies, Senegal; and 6-8 power forward Jalan Wingfield of Thomasville, Ga.
The trio forms a class ranked No. 17 nationally by the 247Sports Composite, No. 5 among ACC programs, and No. 32 overall according to Rivals.
“Kaiden, Moustapha and Jalan will be tremendous additions to next year’s roster,” Stoudamire said. “This class brings high-level talent, work ethic and competitiveness. They’ll boost our depth and versatility at every spot on the floor. We’re thrilled to welcome them to The Flats.”
Bailey, who currently plays for Santa Margarita Catholic, is rated inside the top 125 nationally by 247Sports and listed as the No. 18 point guard. He previously starred at Crean Lutheran in Irvine during the 2023-24 season, averaging 23.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.4 steals across 29 games. A strong guard with scoring and playmaking ability, he posted 19 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game as a junior. According to 247Sports, Bailey also held offers from Colorado State, Cal State Northridge, High Point and Loyola Marymount.
A top-100 prospect, Diop is in his second year at Overtime Elite in Atlanta after spending his freshman and sophomore seasons at the Walker School. He entered the 2025-26 season ranked No. 84 nationally in the class of 2026, per the 247Sports Composite. During the 2024-25 campaign, he posted averages of 11.2 points and 11.7 rebounds for the City Reapers. Before arriving at OTE, MaxPreps named him to its 2024 Sophomore All-American Third Team.
In the summer of 2024, Diop competed with Overtime Elite’s U18 squad at the adidas Next Generation Tournament and also participated in adidas Eurocamp. The Thies, Senegal native spent last summer playing for Game Elite on the adidas 3SSB circuit. According to 247Sports, he picked Georgia Tech over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, and Missouri.
Wingfield, another top-100 prospect according to 247Sports, played a key role in leading Tri-Cities High School to a state championship last season, delivering 20 points and 19 rebounds in the title game. Ranked No. 7 in Georgia by the Rivals Industry Ranking, he is a high-level wing known for his defensive versatility. He began his high school career at Thomasville Central before spending the last three seasons at Tri-Cities. Per 247Sports, Wingfield selected Georgia Tech over Alabama, Cincinnati, and Vanderbilt. His father, Dontonio Wingfield, was a 1994 NBA Draft pick by Seattle and played four years in the league.
