If Tony Martin is anywhere near as talented a football player as his father, Marshall University coaches and fans are in for a treat. Martin, the son of MU Athletics Hall of Fame wide receiver Tim Martin, has announced that he will be transferring from Western Michigan to join the Thundering Herd. The younger Martin, a rising sophomore from Pahokee, Florida, stands at 5-foot-10 and weighs 175 pounds. He has not yet recorded any college statistics.
