The Florida Gators are making significant strides in their early-stage negotiations to secure a top 4-star wide receiver for the 2026 class, and they are positioning themselves as strong contenders in the recruitment of Jabari Brady. At 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds, Brady has drawn considerable attention from top programs across the country and is regarded as one of the nation’s top wide receiver prospects. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, he is the sixth-best wide receiver in the country and the fifth-best recruit from Florida.
Brady, a standout from Monarch High School in Coconut Creek, Florida, holds offers from prestigious programs including Ohio State, Oregon, and Georgia. The Gators have placed themselves in a favorable position, as Brady listed Florida among the top ten schools he is considering back in late November, alongside programs like Oregon, Ohio State, Alabama, Miami, Missouri, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, LSU, and Florida State. His impressive skills on the field, particularly his ability to make plays in high-stakes moments, have made him a sought-after prospect.
During his sophomore season, Brady recorded an impressive 70 receptions for 1,392 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was a key contributor to Monarch High’s deep playoff run in 2023, helping the team reach the Florida 4M State Semi-Finals. In that game, he caught seven passes for 151 yards, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure. While his junior season stats are yet to be released, his earlier performance has already solidified his reputation as one of the top wide receiver talents in the country.
Brady is not the only exciting prospect coming from Monarch High School. His teammate, wide receiver Jaborree Riggins, also holds an offer from the Gators. Riggins, a 6-foot-4 wide receiver, is ranked as a three-star recruit by On3 and is predicted to eventually commit to Florida. This could potentially give the Gators a dynamic receiving duo for the 2026 class, further strengthening their wide receiver corps.
Currently, the Gators have three commits for the 2026 class, ranking 22nd in the country according to 247Sports. However, none of these commits are wide receivers, making Brady and Riggins two key targets for Florida’s recruiting efforts. The Gators have extended offers to 23 other wide receivers in the class of 2026, as they look to build a formidable group of playmakers for the future. As Florida continues to position itself as a major contender for Brady’s commitment, landing him would be a significant step forward in their 2026 recruiting class and a boost to their wide receiver depth moving forward.
