Latest Update: A-State Football Makes Huge Announcement For 2025 Season

The Sun Belt Conference announced the two cross-divisional opponents on Arkansas State’s 2025 football schedule on Thursday. The Red Wolves will compete against East Division teams Appalachian State and Georgia Southern as part of their eight-game conference schedule this season.

Although the specific dates for the Sun Belt portion of A-State’s schedule have yet to be revealed, the locations and opponents for all 12 regular-season games are confirmed for the upcoming season, which kicks off on August 30 against Southeast Missouri at Centennial Bank Stadium.

A-State’s six home games will feature non-conference matchups against Southeast Missouri (Aug. 30) and Iowa State (Sept. 13), along with Sun Belt games against Georgia Southern and West Division teams Louisiana, Southern Miss, and Texas State. In addition to two non-conference away games at Arkansas (Sept. 6) and Kennesaw State (Sept. 20), the Red Wolves will also visit South Alabama, Troy, and ULM from the West Division, as well as East Division opponent Appalachian State.

The full 2024 football schedule for Arkansas State, including conference dates, is anticipated to be released on or before March 1. Season ticket renewals for A-State football will start later this month, allowing new season ticket sales in both premium and standard sections.

Renewing season tickets or purchasing new ones is the primary way to secure tickets for the Red Wolves’ game against Arkansas on Sept. 6 in Little Rock at War Memorial Stadium. Priority points from the Red Wolves Foundation will be used for ticket allocation, but all donors and season ticket holders will have the first chance to buy tickets from the limited allotment available to A-State.

The Red Wolves are coming off two consecutive bowl appearances, including a victory in the 2024 68 Ventures Bowl against Bowling Green. A-State is one of four FBS programs that have increased their regular-season win total each year since 2022.
