“Things To Cheer Fans”-5-Star Immanuel Iheanacho Opens Up About ‘Great’ Texas A&M Aggies Visit

5-Star Immanuel Iheanacho Discusses His ‘Great’ Texas A&M Visit

The Texas A&M Aggies had an exciting recruiting weekend, hosting some of the nation’s top football prospects, including highly regarded offensive tackles. It appears the weekend was a success.

Among the standout visitors was Immanuel Iheanacho, a five-star offensive tackle from Georgetown Preparatory School (Baltimore, MD). According to recruiting insider Steve Wiltfong from On3, Iheanacho had a positive experience during his visit and was impressed by head coach Mike Elko.

“It was great,” Iheanacho shared with Wiltfong. “I like Coach Elko. Had a great conversation with him yesterday. I got to hear his vision for Texas A&M football, especially since he was there before as the defensive coordinator.”

Iheanacho visited with Jackson Cantwell, the No. 1 ranked offensive tackle from Nixa (MO), who also had a strong impression of the visit.

Earlier this year, Iheanacho listed Texas A&M among his top-16 finalists, alongside schools like Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, and others. He plans to visit several other schools next month, including Oklahoma and Tennessee, and aims to narrow down his list of options by summer.

Currently ranked as the No. 2 overall player in the nation and the No. 2 offensive tackle, Iheanacho trails only Cantwell in the rankings.
