LeBron James Opens Up About Playing Alongside Bronny
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James recently shared his thoughts on being teammates with his son, Bronny James, making history as the first NBA player to do so.
In a recent conversation on the GoJo And Golic podcast, LeBron was asked about the experience.
LeBron: “It’s been everything I could’ve hoped for and more. I never imagined I’d have the chance to be there with him daily—through practices, film sessions, flights, road trips, and all those moments. Sometimes, he goes down to the G League to continue working on his game… Every time he’s around, it still feels surreal. I’m usually one of the first in the locker room, and when he walks in, I look over and think, wow, this is real. It’s been so rewarding to show him what it truly means to be a professional and how to approach the game every day.”
Bronny has played in nine NBA games, though his time on the court has been limited. In the G League, he averages 13.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per game, shooting 36.6% from the field and 21.2% from three-point range in seven games.
On Monday night, the Lakers will face the San Antonio Spurs at home. They enter the game with a 20-16 record, sitting at sixth in the Western Conference. LeBron is now in his seventh season with the Lakers.
