The San Jose Sharks traded Justin Bailey to the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday in exchange for forward Pavol Regenda.

Bailey, 29, has played for the San Jose Barracuda in the AHL this season, notching 14 points (7 goals, 7 assists) in 33 games. Over his career, he has accumulated 23 points (10 goals, 13 assists) in 141 NHL games with the Buffalo Sabres, Philadelphia Flyers, Vancouver Canucks, and Sharks. Bailey was drafted by Buffalo in the second round of the 2013 NHL Draft.

Regenda, 25, has recorded 16 points (4 goals, 12 assists) in 36 games with the San Diego Gulls of the AHL this season. He has played 19 NHL games, earning 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) – all with the Ducks.
