REPORTS: Bison Football Team Confirms Hard Pill to Swallow

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Bison Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach Jake Landry is reportedly departing the team to join a Power Four program.

ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports that Landry will take on the role of Running Backs coach at Iowa State.

Landry joined the Bison last year and played a key role in their National Title victory. He was appointed Quarterbacks Coach following Randy Hedberg’s retirement earlier this month.

This marks the second consecutive year that the Bison have lost an Offensive Coordinator to Iowa State, as Tyler Roehl also moved to the Cyclones last offseason.

We’ll keep you updated on Head Coach Tim Polasek’s search for a new Offensive Coordinator as it progresses.
