Ravens’ Justin Tucker and Wife Address Allegations
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has publicly denied allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior, made by 16 local massage therapists. Tucker spoke out for the first time since the allegations surfaced on January 30.
“I maintain I did not act inappropriately at any point before, during, or after a professional bodywork session, nor have I ever been told I am unwelcome at any massage therapy provider,” Tucker stated in a response to OutKick. “These claims are simply untrue.”
The allegations first emerged when six massage therapists accused Tucker of inappropriate sexual behavior in a report by the Baltimore Banner. Since then, the number of accusers has risen to 16, with the alleged incidents said to have occurred between 2012 and 2016, during Tucker’s early years in the NFL.
NFL investigators visited Baltimore last week to interview some of Tucker’s accusers, and Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta described the situation as “serious and concerning” due to both the nature and the number of the allegations.
Tucker, alongside his legal team, is determined to clear his name.
“Over the past month, I have spent countless hours reflecting on every interaction I’ve had with bodywork professionals over the past thirteen years,” Tucker said. “I can assure you that I never intended to disrespect anyone, cross any boundaries, or make anyone feel uncomfortable in any way.”
Tucker also expressed regret if any of his interactions made someone feel disrespected, emphasizing his commitment to ensuring all those he works with feel valued and respected.
Tucker’s wife, Amanda, also defended him, sharing with OutKick that she had recommended some of the spas where the sessions took place, as they often scheduled couples’ appointments. “The false allegations against Justin have caused so much hurt to our family,” Amanda said. “I believe my husband, and I love and support him fully.”
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh and DeCosta have stated that they will wait for the conclusion of the league’s investigation before taking any action.
