“Patriots Injury Update: Major Players Listed as Limited on Week’s First Report!

The Patriots had a key wide receiver sidelined during Wednesday’s practice due to a new ankle injury. DeMario Douglas, who was listed as limited, was one of 13 players to receive that designation on the team’s first injury report of the week.

Douglas was the team’s top receiver in last Sunday’s significant loss to the Dolphins, recording 62 yards on five receptions.

Safety Jabrill Peppers was also marked as limited with a knee injury, even though he has missed the last seven weeks. The veteran safety was taken off the Commissioner Exempt List on Monday following his arrest and charges related to assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation, and cocaine possession.

After appearing on the injury report last week with a hip issue, Christian Gonzalez fully participated in practice on Wednesday, and Jaquelin Roy returned after sitting out the previous week due to a neck injury.
