No. 9 Missouri is heading to College Station, Texas, for a matchup against Texas A&M. When discussing the upcoming game on Tuesday, Tigers quarterback Brady Cook addressed concerns about the noise at Kyle Field. He mentioned that the sound during practice this week has been even louder than what they might encounter in the stadium.
“The noise at practice is actually louder. They have big speakers positioned just a couple of feet behind me, making it hard to hear anything,” Cook explained. “In stadiums, it’s loud, but it sounds more distant and surrounding, so it’s a bit different. I think the noise can be just as loud or even harder to communicate through. That’s been beneficial because we’ve been practicing in those conditions every rep this week.”

Kyle Field, with a capacity of 102,733, ranks among the top five largest college football stadiums in the nation, known for its incredible noise levels. Those who watched the press conference could tell that Cook didn’t mean to disrespect College Station’s renowned “12th Man,” but it’s clear the Aggies will use his comments as motivation.
Texas A&M defensive lineman Nana Boadi-Owusu shared a clip of Cook’s press conference on social media, adding “Bet.” Head coach Mike Elko also responded to Cook’s statements.
“It’s been interesting to see people challenge Kyle Field. I heard their quarterback say today that practices are louder than Kyle Field. To me, that’s a challenge to the 12th Man,” Elko remarked on Wednesday.
