Thousand Oaks (Calif.) 2026 tight end Hayden Vercher currently holds three offers.
He has received offers from Arizona, Arizona State, and Toledo. While he hasn’t visited Toledo, he has checked out the Arizona campus.
“Arizona is really cool; coach (Matt) Adkins is recruiting me, and I’ve talked to the offensive coordinator (Dino Babers),” Vercher said.
Although he hasn’t visited Arizona State, he appreciates what the Sun Devils are doing.
“Arizona State’s coach (Jason Mohns) is nice and easy to talk to,” Vercher noted.
Vercher has also heard from Florida, UCLA, Utah, Fresno State, Ole Miss, and Texas Tech, having visited UCLA in the spring.
“UCLA was great; coach (Jerry) Neuheisel is recruiting me, and he’s really cool,” he said.
Vercher mentioned that Texas Tech might be the next program to extend an offer.
“I’ve talked to the tight ends coach, and they seem the most interested right now,” he explained.
The 6’4″, 218-pound tight end will start the season on Friday against Orange (Calif.) El Modena.
