Norris, a 6’4, 270-pound defensive lineman from Spruce Creek in Port Orange, Florida, had an outstanding junior season, recording 70.5 tackles, 20 QB pressures, 13 tackles for loss, and 9.5 sacks. He also showcased his athleticism in track and field, excelling in throwing events and posting an impressive shot put throw as a sophomore. This year, he displayed his speed in the 4×100 event during the track season.
Considered by Purdue, Minnesota, Miami, and Georgia Tech, Norris took official visits to Miami, Minnesota, and Purdue in June. His recruitment gained momentum in March with offers from several prominent schools. Georgia Tech offered him last July, and despite changes in the coaching staff, he held the Yellow Jackets in high regard after an official visit in May.
Norris, known for his disruptive play as an interior defender, excels at winning one-on-one matchups and using his hands and agility to penetrate the backfield. His strong pursuit and ability to quickly stop ball carriers make him a valuable asset. Additionally, his relentless effort and persistence on every play stand out in his film.
Joining Georgia Tech alongside other defensive line commits, Norris’s commitment adds to the program’s successful 2025 recruiting class, which includes a total of 20 commitments and 17 secured in the month of June.
