Rising senior forward Bryce Jackson discusses his recruitment after a strong showing last month in June.
“It has been a good experience even though I have been out for two years,” Jackson said about his recent performance. “My body feels 100 percent. Now it’s just about overcoming the mental block. I want to showcase my athleticism, prove that I’m back to full strength, and that I am Bryce Jackson.”
Regarding his recruitment, Jackson currently holds one offer from Houston. He mentions regular communication with the Cougars’ staff and has visited their campus for the annual Team Camp.
“I like the family atmosphere and the proximity to home,” Jackson said about Houston. “I attended their camp and performed well. I’ve visited their school a few times and played with a few guys on my grassroots team who are now there. The staff is very friendly, and it feels like family down there.”
Jackson remains open in his recruitment and is looking for schools that are interested in developing him as a player.
“I want to play for a school that is committed to my improvement,” Jackson said. “I am looking for a coaching staff that will help me grow both as a player and as a person.”
Currently unranked, Jackson is expected to receive a 247Sports grade once the rankings are updated after the grassroots season.
