BREAKING: “Massive” As Four-Star 6’8″ Power-House Includes Virginia In Top Six Amongst Other High Profile Programs
Virginia is among the contenders for one of the top recruits in the high school basketball class of 2025. London Jemison, a four-star forward ranked in the top 50 overall, has narrowed down his list of schools to six, including Virginia, Alabama, Kansas, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, and Louisville.

London Jemison, a 6’8″ power forward from St. Thomas More School in Connecticut, has already visited Syracuse officially and, according to a report from On3’s Joe Tipton, has lined up visits to the other five finalist schools. He will tour Vanderbilt from August 23-25, Kansas from August 29-31, Alabama from September 6-9, Louisville from September 13-15, and Virginia from September 27-29. If he hasn’t committed to another school by then, it could be advantageous for Tony Bennett and the Cavaliers to present their final pitch to Jemison.
Recognized as a consensus four-star recruit by major recruiting services, Jemison is ranked as the No. 37 overall prospect in the 2025 class by 247Sports, which also places him as the No. 11 power forward in the nation and the top player from Connecticut. He had previously received offers from schools like Notre Dame, Penn State, Providence, Villanova, Wake Forest, Xavier, and more before finalizing his list to six.
Virginia is in contention for several highly regarded recruits from the 2025 class, including Jemison (top six), Cam Ward (top ten), and Chance Mallory (top six).
So far Virginia has made the finalist list for three top 100 men’s basketball recruits:

On the other hand, a few other 2025 recruits that the Cavaliers were targeting have decided to look elsewhere. Four-star forward Jack McCaffery, who received an offer from UVA a few weeks ago, committed to Butler on Monday. Additionally, another recently offered prospect, Matthew Able, narrowed his list to eight schools and did not include Virginia.
