Bressum joins growing ETSU men’s golf roster

In Johnson City, Tennessee, the Bucs’ newly appointed head coach for men’s golf, Aaron O’Callaghan, has been actively recruiting transfers to bolster his roster for the upcoming 2024-25 season. His latest acquisition is Kristian Bressum, a talented right-handed golfer from Denmark, who previously played for Saint Mary’s College in California for a duration of three years.

During his time at Saint Mary’s College, Bressum demonstrated his exceptional skills on the course, being named the West Coast Conference (WCC) Freshman of the Year in 2022. Throughout his collegiate career, which spanned 38 tournaments with the Gaels, Bressum achieved an impressive eight Top-10 finishes, showcasing his consistency and competitiveness in the sport.

In the most recent season, Bressum secured three notable top-tier finishes, with a notable highlight being his sixth-place performance at the WCC Championship. His continuous success and dedication to his game have not gone unnoticed, as he was also recognized for his academic achievements by earning a spot on the WCC All-Academic Team for the 2022-23 academic year.
