Broncos wide receiver Reynolds victim of shooting

Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds was shot last week. The 29-year-old was hospitalized early on October 18 for minor injuries but was later released. Reports indicate he was shot once in the left arm and once in the back of the head.

Denver Police arrested two men shortly after the incident, and they are currently being investigated for attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault.

A statement from the Broncos confirmed, “Josh Reynolds was a victim of a shooting Friday in Denver and received treatment for minor injuries. Out of respect for the legal process, we will defer further comment to the authorities.”

Reynolds is on the Broncos’ injured reserve following surgery for a fractured finger he sustained against the Las Vegas Raiders earlier this month. This season, he has recorded 12 catches for 183 yards and one touchdown. Over his eight-season career with the Los Angeles Rams, Tennessee Titans, Detroit Lions, and the Broncos, he has amassed 232 receptions for 3,116 yards and 20 touchdowns in 112 games.
