For Friday’s matchup, there’s a possibility that Jarrett Allen could return, as he’s been listed as questionable on the injury report with knee tendonitis.
According to Danny Cunningham of Locked On Cavs, Cleveland has upgraded Allen’s status ahead of the game against the Miami Heat.
Meanwhile, Jaylon Tyson (toe bone bruise), Dean Wade (right ankle sprain), and Craig Porter Jr. (groin) have all been ruled out.
Jarrett Allen is currently in his fifth season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Before his injury, he was putting together another strong campaign, averaging 15.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.0 steals per game while shooting an efficient 63.6% from the field across 51 appearances.
According to Hoop Central, Allen had been especially dominant in recent games. Over a nine-game stretch leading up to February 24, he averaged 21.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists while shooting 74.0% in just under 29 minutes per game — a run that highlighted his impact and consistency.
