Just a few weeks ago, when the Hoyas were dealing with concerns about their front-court depth, Diouf became a key focus for Ed Cooley’s recruiting and was the first 2025 recruit to commit to Georgetown. He now becomes part of a strong 2024 class that includes Thomas Sorber, Kayvan Mulready, and Caleb Williams.

Additionally, Julius Halaifonua, who committed on Monday, enhances the team’s lineup of international big men. The Hoyas now have some promising young height.

Cooley has also welcomed transfers Jordan Burks, Curtis Williams Jr., Malik Mack, and Micah Peavy. Drew McKenna is anticipated to make his debut, while Drew Fielder and Jayden Epps are the only returnees with experience at Georgetown. Fans are excited to see how this new talent will contribute as the team embarks on its rebuilding journey.
