Highly Worrisome As Daughter Of Ex-Texas Head Coach Has A Brutally Honest Message For Steve Sarkisian

Daughter Of Ex-Texas Head Coach Has A Message For Steve Sarkisian

Tom Herman was heralded as the potential next prominent college football head coach. Hailing from Cincinnati, he served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the 2014 national champion Ohio State Buckeyes.

After leaving Ohio State, he assumed the head coaching position for the Houston Cougars, leading them to a 22-4 record over two seasons. Herman then transitioned to become the head coach for the struggling Texas Longhorns, who had endured four consecutive losing seasons. In his second year at Texas, he steered the team to a 10-4 record, clinching a Sugar Bowl victory against the Georgia Bulldogs.

Despite this initial success, Herman’s performance waned as he accumulated a 15-8 record in the subsequent two seasons, leading to his replacement by Steve Sarkisian in 2021. Sarkisian recently completed a remarkable 12-2 season with Texas, securing the Big 12 Championship but falling to Washington in the College Football Playoff.

Interestingly, this defeat marked the second consecutive postseason loss to the Huskies, a fact promptly highlighted by Herman’s daughter, Priya Herman.

Following his departure from Texas, Herman exited the collegiate football scene. He served as an offensive analyst for the Chicago Bears in 2021 and opted for a sabbatical in 2022.

In 2023, Herman embarked on a new coaching journey as the head coach at Florida Atlantic. His inaugural season at the helm concluded with a 4-8 record.
