Penn State University has confirmed to PennLive that the ex-president’s plans have been altered and he will not be present at Beaver Stadium to join fans for the nationally broadcasted game between the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions.

Reports first emerged last week about Trump’s intention to be present at Happy Valley for the significant game involving two top-ranked teams.

This game was seen as a chance for Trump to have a significant presence in Pennsylvania, a key swing state. Trump, the GOP candidate, had already been campaigning energetically in Pennsylvania, with recent events taking place at the state’s famous Bryce Jordan Center. For those who support Trump, the game would have provided another opportunity to watch him while rooting for their team.

Wyatt Russell, the Director of Public Relations at Penn State University, informed PennLive that the University was notified by Trump’s team about the change in schedule.

Russell informed Penn Live that the University received notice that ex-President Donald Trump will not attend the Ohio State-Penn State football game.

Election Day for the U.S. Presidency and a wide range of other positions in local, state, and national races is scheduled for this upcoming Tuesday, November 5.

Penn State and Ohio State will start playing at twelve o’clock on the FOX network. The Nittany Lions are undefeated at 7-0 going into the game, while Ohio State has a record of 6-1.

The victorious team in this match will secure the third spot in the Big Ten rankings, trailing only Oregon (8-0, 5-0) and Indiana (8-0, 5-0) as the season progresses.
