Melbourne City have confirmed striker Hannah Wilkinson will now leave the club following the conclusion of her contract.

After spending three seasons in Melbourne, Wilkinson leaves as the top goal scorer in City Women’s history, scoring an impressive 30 goals in 51 games for the Liberty A-League Premiers.

“I want to express my gratitude to the fans, my incredible teammates, the coaching staff, and all the Club members for their support throughout my tenure at City,” Wilkinson conveyed during an interview with the club’s internal media.

Wilkinson played a significant part for Dario Vidosic’s team this season, scoring 10 goals and providing one assist. Their victory in the Premiership was achieved in a thrilling manner by edging out the favored Sydney FC on the last day of the season.
