Just In: Four-Star Power Forward Sensation Includes Virginia in Top 8, Official Date To UVA

The UVA men’s basketball program’s fall visitor schedule is beginning to take shape. Keyshuan Tillery, a consensus four-star point guard for 2025, has reportedly arranged an official visit to Virginia for the weekend of August 30th, as reported by 24/7 High School Hoops and League Ready on Thursday afternoon. According to the report, Tillery will be in Charlottesville to visit the Cavaliers on August 30th, followed by official visits to Wake Forest on September 6th, Cincinnati on September 13th, Ohio State on September 21st, and Villanova on October 4th.

Standing 6’1″ and hailing from the New Hampton School in New Hampshire, Tillery is a four-star recruit rated highly by major recruiting services, ranking No. 49 in the ESPN Top 100 and No. 71 on 247Sports. He is also recognized as the No. 10 point guard in the nation and the No. 2 player in New Hampshire.

While Tillery hasn’t officially stated that he received an offer from Virginia, his decision to schedule an official visit suggests considerable mutual interest. In addition to Virginia, he has official visits lined up with other schools, including Wake Forest, Villanova, Ohio State, and Cincinnati. He has also received offers from programs such as Kansas, Florida, Iowa, Louisville, Syracuse, Tennessee, Rutgers, Washington, Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Northwestern, and Georgetown, among others. Many of these offers have come this summer, as Tillery has excelled on the Nike EYBL circuit.

Tillery’s visit to UVA on August 30th will mark the beginning of a busy period of official visits for Virginia, attracting several top recruiting targets to Charlottesville. The Cavaliers are scheduled to host local point guard Chance Mallory and five-star forward Nate Ament on the weekend of September 13th, followed by four-star point guard JJ Mandaquit and four-star power forward London Jemison on September 27th.

Although Virginia has not yet secured any verbal commitments for the 2025 recruiting class, they are among the finalists for six four-star recruits, including:

  • PG Chance Mallory (Charlottesville, VA)
  • SF Cam Ward (Washington, D.C.)
  • PF London Jemison (West Hartford, CT)
  • CG Derek Dixon (Washington, D.C.)
  • PF Tre Singleton (Jeffersonville, IN)
  • PG JJ Mandaquit (Hilo, HI)
