Georgia Tech Basketball has been actively engaged in talent recruitment during the offseason and recently welcomed a new addition to their transfer class.

Duncan Powell, a former forward from Sacramento State and NC A&T, made his commitment to Georgia Tech in June, solidifying his position as a Yellow Jacket player.

Powell’s inclusion brings a combination of size and experience to the team’s frontcourt. His involvement in 29 games last season, with 23 starts, showcased his impressive averages of over 12 points per game and 7 rebounds per game.

Coach Stoudamire has established himself as a highly effective recruiter at Georgia Tech, evident in the recruitment of a class that has been ranked as the 14th best in the nation.
