Just In: Massive Boost As Illinois State Men’s Basketball Lands Three “KEY” Recruits

Illinois State men’s basketball has secured commitments from three players for the 2025-26 season: Isaac Ericksen, Nick Allen, and Tyreek Coleman.

Ericksen is a 6’9″ guard/forward from Green Level High School in Gary, NC, where he averaged 18.1 points and 8.3 rebounds per game last season. He also attracted interest from various colleges, including Furman and Arkansas State.

Allen, a three-star prospect according to 247 Sports, is a 6’11” center from Bradley, IL. He has drawn attention from schools like Northern Iowa and Eastern Illinois.

Coleman, a 6’2″ guard, had a standout junior season, leading Waubonsie Valley to a 27-3 record and earning a spot on the Sun-Times All-Area team.

These three recruits are the first to join head coach Ryan Pedon’s roster for the 2025-26 season.
