Just In: “Massive News” As UCLA Women Basketball Announces Nonconference schedule

Head coach Cori Close is beginning her 14th season with the UCLA Bruins women’s basketball team, and expectations are high for the 2024-2025 season.

Last year, the Bruins reached the Sweet 16, but they haven’t made it to the Elite Eight since 2018. They haven’t appeared in the Final Four since 1979, and as they embark on their first season in the Big Ten, they are eager to change that.

Recently, the Bruins revealed their non-conference home schedule:

  • November 10: Colgate
  • November 12: Pepperdine
  • November 17: Arkansas
  • November 24: South Carolina
  • December 16: Cal Poly

The announcement of the schedule was supported by a special highlight. Check it out!

They will face each team in the conference once and will have two matches against their rival, USC. The other Big Ten teams visiting Westwood include Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, and Penn State.
