Key San Antonio Spurs Player Is Still A Free Agent As Trade deal looks Ideal In Coming Days

Cedi Osman (Spurs) is still a free agent.

Cedi Osman just completed a season in which he played 72 games for the San Antonio Spurs.

He concluded the year with averages of 6.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game, shooting 47.9% from the floor and 38.9% from beyond the arc.

This summer, Osman entered free agency, making him eligible to sign with any NBA team.

As of August 28, he remains without a contract.

Osman was selected 31st overall in the 2015 NBA Draft.

Now 29, he has seven seasons of experience in the league with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the San Antonio Spurs.

In the 2019 season, Osman averaged 13.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, shooting 42.7% from the field and 34.8% from three-point range over 76 games with the Cavaliers.

Despite being part of several struggling teams, Osman made it to the NBA Finals with the Cavaliers in the 2018 season.

His career statistics show an average of 9.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game, with a shooting percentage of 43.2% from the field and 35.7% from beyond the arc, across 476 regular season games.

He has also participated in 19 playoff games in the NBA.

There’s no doubt that he could be a valuable veteran addition to a contender’s bench.
