Kick co-founder Addresses Massive Rumor They Signed Hawk Tuah Girl To $5M Contract
Kick co-founder Ed Craven has responded to rumors about the platform signing the “Hawk Tuah” girl, Hailey Welch, to a $ 5 million contract.
Craven has dismissed the viral speculations claiming that Kick made deals with Welch and the controversial comedian Charleston White. On October 11, a Twitter user named TheKickJoker posted that the streaming service had allegedly offered White a $ 2 million contract, despite his recent arrests, including one in 2023 for animal cruelty and another on October 10 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The user expressed concern about the platform’s direction, saying, “We are in the arc of partnering with convicts and felons…. I hope sources got this wrong. First, the guy in the boat, now this?”
Craven quickly refuted this assertion, stating: “Kick hasn’t issued new deals in a while, as we’ve shifted to the KCIP model. This approach allows qualified individuals to apply, with larger audiences sometimes fast-tracked.”
Allegedly, Kick Streaming just gave a 2 million dollar deal to Charleston White…

He added: “What you’ve heard beyond this is mainly just noise, clickbait, or third parties presenting their own ‘deals’ independently. I talked about this shift a while ago, and it’s been highly successful.
“Kick is performing better in almost every key performance indicator, but more importantly, we’re dedicated to building a healthier, stronger community of motivated individuals and rewarding them appropriately.”
Shortly after his response, another user claimed that Ed was signing the “Hawk Tuah” girl to a $ 5 million contract, stating she would bring “nothing” to the platform.
However, the Kick co-founder promptly refuted this, saying: “This is not true.”
Yeah but ur giving 5 million to hawk tuah girl who will bring nothing to kick. Where u could have given 50 100k contracts like you once said you were planning on doing.

The rumor began on October 11, when the Twitter account KickStreamsLive, which has more than 128.5K followers, asserted that Hailey had signed a $ 5 million contract with the streaming platform. Despite the lack of a credible source, many individuals accepted this as truth.
