Amari-Morgan Smith signs new deal

ONE of the few positives from Kidderminster Harriers’ relegation is determined to right the wrongs of last season.

Supporters’ favorite player of the season, Amari Morgan-Smith, has extended his contract with Kidderminster Harriers in the National League North for the 2024-25 season.

Despite often leading the attacking line alone, Morgan-Smith, who will be 35 in April, has been indispensable due to his hardworking displays and contributions of nine league goals.

Having scored over 50 goals in more than 200 appearances for Harriers over various stints, he expressed his strong attachment to the club and its fans. He had offers from other clubs but was determined to remain at Kidderminster to help them return to their rightful place in the league.

Morgan-Smith credited the persuasion of manager Phil Brown, assistant Neil McDonald, and technical director Dean Holdsworth for his decision to stay. He emphasized his commitment to assisting the team in achieving promotion, especially after their recent relegation.
