This season, the Notre Dame football team has had to learn how to secure victories without key players on the field. For their upcoming game against Georgia Tech and for the remainder of the season, the Irish will be missing Benjamin Morrison, but he won’t be the only defender sidelined for the matchup against the Yellow Jackets.

Earlier this week, head coach Marcus Freeman announced that another defensive lineman would also be out for Saturday’s game, adding to the challenges since they are already without Boubacar Troure.

Additionally, lineman Jason Onye will be unavailable, missing his second game due to a personal matter, though Freeman has not disclosed any details regarding this issue.

The loss of Onye is a significant blow for the team. Although he had limited playing time this season, he recorded 7 tackles and 1.5 sacks. What’s particularly frustrating is that it seemed like he was beginning to find his rhythm.
