However, the trade market for quarterbacks in the NFL is limited. One intriguing possibility could be Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 draft. The Alabama alum was benched after a rough start to the season and might be seeking a fresh start.

In the latest episode of Scoop City, Dianna Russini from The Athletic noted that many coaches and general managers across the league are eager at the prospect of working with Bryce Young if the Panthers decide to trade him (h/t Bleacher Report).

“There are a lot of coaches and GMs who are excited about the possibility, thinking, ‘Maybe we can do something with him since he was a high draft pick and went No. 1 overall,’” Russini stated (h/t Clutch Points). “The Panthers weren’t the only ones who considered Bryce Young the top talent at quarterback.”

Given Giants head coach Brian Daboll’s connection to Alabama, the G-Men might have some interest in acquiring Young. Daboll is recognized as one of the NFL’s leading quarterback developers and offensive strategists, having successfully tapped into Josh Allen’s potential during his time as the Bills’ offensive coordinator. Although it’s unlikely to happen, considering a trade for Young is an intriguing option for the Giants. He was the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft for several reasons, primarily due to his impressive arm talent and ability to make plays under pressure. However, this potential hasn’t fully translated to success in the NFL yet, as Young has a career TD-INT ratio of 11-13 over 20 games. Much of this struggle can be attributed to the lack of talent around him in Carolina.
