Major News: Blues Land Elite Forward on Exciting Two-Way Deal! ( 775 K N H L / 775KNHL/ 150K AHL)

The St. Louis Blues’ President of Hockey Operations and General Manager, Doug Armstrong, announced today that the team has signed forward Nikita Alexandrov to a one-year, two-way contract, valued at 775,000intheNHLand 150,000 in the AHL.

The 24-year-old Alexandrov played in 23 regular-season games for the Blues last season, contributing two assists. He also participated in seven regular-season games with the AHL affiliate, Springfield Thunderbirds, where he scored seven points (three goals and four assists).

In total, the Burgwedel, Germany native has registered nine points (three goals and six assists) and accrued 12 penalty minutes over 51 career regular-season games with the Blues.

Alexandrov was originally selected by the team in the second round, 62nd overall, in the 2019 NHL Draft.
