The Wisconsin football team has offered a scholarship to Luke Brewer, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound tight end from Norwalk, Iowa, in the 2027 class. Brewer is rated as a 4-star tight end on both On3.com and Rivals.com, with On3 ranking him as the 74th overall player in the 2027 class and Rivals placing him slightly higher at 58th. He is recognized as the No. 6 tight end nationally and the No. 3 tight end in Iowa. This offer from the Badgers marks Brewer’s 11th Division 1 scholarship, and he has also received offers from programs such as Iowa, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, and Tennessee, among others.

Although it’s early in his recruitment, Brewer might be a challenging prospect for the Badgers to attract. As expected, Iowa appears to be the frontrunner for the Iowa native, particularly given the Hawkeyes’ track record of developing tight ends for the NFL. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently gives Iowa a 67.7% chance of securing Brewer, with Iowa State in second place at 10.7%. Michigan and Georgia follow next, with chances of 9.2% and 7.6%, respectively.
