Mississippi State Bulldogs football Building Steam With Florida DL Kaiden Robinson-Vickers
Mississippi State is making noticeable progress with defensive line prospect Kaiden Robinson-Vickers as his summer official visit schedule begins to take shape.
The Dunnellon, Florida standout has four official visits scheduled, and the Bulldogs remain squarely in contention — with signs pointing toward growing momentum.
Robinson-Vickers’ confirmed official visits include North Carolina Tar Heels football, Miami Hurricanes football, UCF Knights football, and Mississippi State. He is also considering unofficial trips, with Florida Gators football among the programs in the mix, but his main group appears set.
North Carolina kicks off his official visit slate May 29–31. The Tar Heels extended an offer in November, and head coach Bill Belichick made an in-person visit in January — a moment Robinson-Vickers described as surreal but meaningful as their relationship develops.
Miami follows June 5–7. Defensive line coach Damione Lewis offered in late January, and Robinson-Vickers has been vocal about his appreciation for Lewis’ coaching style and the physical edge Miami’s defensive front displayed last season.
UCF hosts him June 12–14. He has previously visited campus for games and maintains a steady connection with defensive tackles coach Kenny Martin dating back to last summer’s offer.
Mississippi State, however, could be the program to watch. The Bulldogs first offered in early September, and when defensive line coach Ty Warren joined the staff in December, he reaffirmed that interest immediately. Warren had tracked Robinson-Vickers prior to arriving in Starkville and quickly re-extended the offer, prioritizing relationship-building from the outset.
That consistency appears to be resonating. While Robinson-Vickers hasn’t finalized the date for his official visit to Starkville, the mutual interest is strong and trending upward.
On the field, his production backs up the attention. As a junior, he recorded 43 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, and seven sacks — numbers that explain why his recruitment is accelerating.
With official visits approaching, Mississippi State finds itself in an ideal position: firmly in his top group, strengthening ties with a coach he trusts, and working to secure a campus visit that could further tilt the race in the Bulldogs’ favor.
