Manaea has fallen short of this strikeout line in six out of his 12 starts this season, making this upcoming matchup his most challenging yet.

Chris Sale is favored to exceed 7.5 strikeouts at +102 on FanDuel as the Rays take on the Braves at 7:20 p.m. ET.

After a subpar outing versus the Athletics, Sale rallied with 10 strikeouts in his recent game against the Nationals. Having surpassed this strikeout line in six of his last seven starts, Sale faces a promising matchup against the Rays. The Rays exhibit a high chase rate and whiff rate in the league, making Sale’s pitch arsenal a potential recipe for success.

Tyler Anderson is expected to fall short of 3.5 strikeouts at +128 on FanDuel in the Angels versus Giants game at 10:15 p.m. ET.

Despite his solid performance so far, Anderson’s metrics suggest luck has been on his side. While boasting a low ERA, Anderson’s strikeout rate is only at 16.0%. His strategy relies on inducing chase swings, but the Giants have demonstrated discipline with a low chase rate and whiff rate, posing a challenge for Anderson to hit the strikeout mark.
