Must-See: Five-Star UNC Basketball Recruit Announces Two Key Dates for Decision!

One extremely athletic UNC basketball target is gearing up to announce a winner.

Braylon Mullins, a senior at Greenfield-Central School in Indiana, received an offer from UNC basketball head coach Hubert Davis in May. Now, with the Tar Heels ranking among his top three options alongside UConn and Indiana, he’s on the verge of announcing his college decision.

The 6-foot-5, 180-pound shooting guard, a five-star prospect ranked No. 23 overall and No. 5 in his position on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, has scheduled his announcement for October 23. According to national recruiting insider Adam Zagoria, Mullins intends to finalize his commitment on November 15, just three days into the early signing period for the 2025 class.

In recent months, Mullins has visited all three of his top choices, and each of the head coaches visited Indiana last week to see the talented shooter in action.

“He’s a pure scorer at every level,” said Greenfield-Central head coach Luke Meredith to Zagoria, praising Mullins’ ability to score both inside and beyond the arc. “In my opinion, he’s the best shooter in the country, with a high basketball IQ and elite passing skills with both hands.”

There are currently no 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for Braylon Mullins’ recruitment, and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine shows the same. A Rivals FutureCast analyst has indicated that Indiana is the frontrunner, but that prediction was made several months ago.
