Oregon State Beavers countdown: Hass caught 79 passes for 1,739 yards and 21 touchdowns

Mike Hass Bio: Despite a standout senior year at Jesuit High School, where he recorded 79 catches for 1,739 yards and 21 touchdowns, Mike Hass joined Oregon State as a walk-on, having not received a scholarship offer. His impressive performance helped lead the Crusaders to a state championship and included seven touchdowns in a notable win over Central Catholic. Hass was inducted into Oregon State’s Hall of Fame in 2023.
Key Statistics: The 2005 Biletnikoff Award winner set numerous receiving records at OSU, many of which have remained high on the charts for nearly two decades. Hass holds eight of the top 19 receiving performances in the program’s history, including the record for most yards in a single game with 293 yards (12 catches, three touchdowns) against Boise State in 2004. His 14 receptions in a game against Arizona State in 2004 are tied for the all-time record. In 2005, he had 90 catches (fourth all-time) and 1,532 yards (second all-time), and his nine 100-yard games that season remain the most in program history. His 86 receptions in 2004 are tied for fifth, while his 1,379 yards that season rank third.

Hass earned first-team All-Pac-10 honors in both 2004 and 2005 and was named a first-team All-American in 2005, having previously been a third-team All-American in 2004. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2022.
NFL Career: Hass was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the sixth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He also had stints with the Chicago Bears and the Seattle Seahawks.
