Panthers quarterback Andy Dalton Was In A Car Accident With His Family, But No One Required Immediate Medical Transportation.

Panthers state that the team’s medical staff is assessing Andy Dalton.

On Tuesday night, the Carolina Panthers revealed that their starting quarterback Andy Dalton had been in a car accident.

Dalton was accompanied by his family — his wife, three children, and dog — in the car, but fortunately, no one required emergency medical transportation.

Dalton and his family were not taken by emergency medical personnel. The Panthers announced that Dalton is undergoing evaluation by the team’s medical staff.

Dalton has been taking the helm as the Panthers’ main quarterback after head coach Dave Canales decided to replace Bryce Young, the 2023 No. 1 overall pick, in Week 3.

Dalton made an impressive debut for Carolina by throwing three touchdowns and 319 yards to beat the Las Vegas Raiders.

However, the Panthers have not won any games in the last four matches because Dalton only managed to throw four touchdowns and six interceptions during that time.

Carolina suffered a decisive defeat on the road against the Washington Commanders, with Marcus Mariota stepping in for the injured Jayden Daniels. However, the Commanders easily secured victory with a final score of 40-7.

Dalton has achieved 989 yards, seven touchdowns, and six interceptions in his 1-4 record as a starter this season, with a 66.3% completion rate on his passes.

Canales stated that Dalton will continue to be the team’s starting quarterback for Week 8 against the Denver Broncos, even though the team’s record is not great.
