RECRUITING: Huge Boost as 3-Star California QB Sensation Commits To Army

Army football’s 2025 recruiting class has now grown to 50 reported verbal commitments after adding talent from Southern California this week.

Quarterback Seth Shigg announced his commitment to West Point on X, captioning his post with “looking forward to the next chapter.”

The quarterback hails from Chaminade High School in the West Hills area of Los Angeles. Rated three stars by 247Sports, Shigg has a player rating of 85, making him the highest-rated recruit in Jeff Monken’s latest class. He is also the third quarterback to commit to Army in this cycle.

Standing at 5’10” and weighing 176 pounds, Shigg chose Army over scholarship offers from Air Force, Florida Atlantic, Navy, and UNLV.

According to his MaxPreps page, Shigg threw for ten touchdowns and rushed for eleven last season.

Shigg’s first opportunity to sign his National Letter of Intent will be on December 4, 2024. Check out some of his high school highlights below.
