Reports: Cleveland Browns Release Former ETSU Buccaneer RB Sensation

(WJHL) — Tuesday marks cut day in the NFL, and things aren’t looking promising for former ETSU Buccaneers running back Jacob Saylors.

On Monday afternoon, the Cleveland Browns released Saylors, who had been picked up just last Thursday, despite showing some promise with several good runs in the pre-season finale against Seattle.

Saylors has spent two seasons in the NFL, previously playing for the Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants, who recently cut him as well.

This summer, he had a strong performance in the UFL, rushing for 460 yards and five touchdowns, which placed him second in the league for both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. Additionally, he accumulated 151 receiving yards and three touchdown receptions.
